Hosted by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Department of Nutrition and proudly co-sponsored by the Teaching Kitchen Collaborative, Ardmore Institute of Health, the NIH (NCCIH and NHLBI)*, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and the Consortium for Integrative Medicine; this is the leading international conference where health professionals, chefs, educators, clinical and basic science researchers, food system experts, and others will present original research relating to the use of teaching kitchens and expand our collective knowledge of the relationships between food, human health, and planetary health. **Teaching kitchens are more than kitchens. They are learning laboratories where individuals receive: nutrition education, hands-on cooking instruction, information regarding importance of exercise, mindfulness instruction and behavioral change strategies. This conference looks at the impact of teaching kitchen programs on behavior, clinical outcomes (biomarkers), costs and environmental sustainability.
