AIH considers requests from organizations designated by the IRS as 501(c)(3) public charities or from U.S. government agencies.
Proposals must abide by our Indirect Cost Limits Policy to be considered.
AIH prioritizes projects with multiple funding sources.

A well-prepared applicant will review the AIH Strategic Plan and projects we’ve previously funded.

Grant recipients are expected to:
Sign a contract agreeing to the grant requirements outlined in the AIH Award Agreement Terms and Conditions
Complete and submit an interim report and final report
Recognize and acknowledge AIH support in all project-related communications

Grant proposals are considered in the Spring and Fall of each year. The grants calendar can be found below.

Organizations may submit one grant application per grant cycle.
In general, previously-funded projects must be completed before applying for future funding.

To begin, submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) Qualification form via the AIH Grants Platform. Should your request be approved and advanced at each stage, the process will flow as follows:
