Ardmore Institute of Health Sponsors Teaching Kitchen Convening in Boston

Thirty thought leaders in the teaching kitchen and culinary medicine space gathered in Boston to discuss how collaboration can elevate and leverage the power of teaching kitchens in clinical, corporate, and community settings.

The gathering was led by Dr. David Eisenberg, Director of Culinary Nutrition at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health and the founding Executive Director of the Teaching Kitchen Collaborative. It was hosted at the Google campus in Boston and featured Google’s onsite chefs and state-of-the-art teaching kitchen facility.

Thought leaders present included: Helene Langevin (Director NIH NCCIH), Congressman Jim McGovern, the (acting director NIH Office of Nutrition Research; and representatives from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the Association of America Medical Colleges(AAMC), the  Obama Foundation, insurance company execs, and leading educators.
