Ardmore Institute of Health Welcomes New Board Members – Drs. Rima and Vartabedian Join AIH Board

Ardmore, Oklahoma. (July 1, 2020) – Ardmore Institute of Health is proud to welcome Drs Vartabedian and Rima to the Board of Trustees.

Cynthia L. S. Rima, DNP, APN, ANP-BC, DipACLM, is a Doctor of Nursing Practice with clinical experience in primary care, working with practices in the Maryland, northern Virginia and Chattanooga, Tennessee regions. She is professor of nursing at Southern Adventist University teaching undergraduate and graduate nursing degree levels. Her Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) background includes working in practices Maryland, northern Virginia and Chattanooga, Tennessee regions and in a clinic for low income, uninsured adults.

Roy Vartabedian, DrPH, is a Doctor of Public Health, and internationally recognized health consultant, speaker, and author. He has extensive experience developing health and wellness programs including an award-winning Preventive Care teaching program for medical residencies. He is a New York Times best-selling author and guest on national television programs, such as the Today Show; Live with Regis; Everyday with Joan Lunden.

AIH President, Dr. Ron Stout said, “we’re delighted to welcome Drs. Rima and Vartabedian as the newest board trustees. Their experience and  influence will be instrumental as we work toward a future where lifestyle and Lifestyle Medicine is the preferred method for preventing, treating and reversing chronic disease.”
