Think the constantly changing “too good to be true” diet trends are exhausting? Join the club. There’s endless information on nutrition and exercise, and yet, we’re all still confused. But it turns out, if you actually take a look at the science, it's not that complicated or controversial at all.
In this workshop, we'll spend some time talking about the things we DO agree on, the things we KNOW are good for our health, plus, how to actually get ourselves to do them, because let's face it... that's the hard part.
Juna Gjata , BA graduated from Harvard in 2017 with a degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Evolutionary Psychology. She is the creator and co-host of the podcast Food We Need to Talk, and along with her co-host Dr. Eddie Phillips co-authored a book of the same title. Gjata is also an accomplished concert pianist, having performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Juna is currently obsessed with snowboarding and the gym.
Edward Phillips, MD is an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School and the founder and director of the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. His lifestyle medicine conferences have trained thousands of clinicians on how to use lifestyle factors to prevent chronic disease. When he is not podcasting, writing books, or practicing medicine, he enjoys swimming, biking, running, and lifting (light) weights.
If you cannot attend the workshop live, we'll share a recording on this page.
