As we enter the season of giving and gratitude, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) and Ardmore Institute of Health asks members and partners to join together to make a difference.

You’re invited, through year-end donations, to support clinicians who are members of underrepresented groups in medicine (URM) and who provide care to high-need, medically underserved populations with training in Lifestyle Medicine.

Introducing the HEAL* Education Scholarship Fund

The objective is to bridge the gap for URM clinicians pursuing Lifestyle Medicine certification. We hope to increase the racial and ethnic diversity of the Lifestyle Medicine workforce and give particular support to those providing care to vulnerable populations.

ACLM intends to help 20 new URM clinicians who are committed to an evidence-based Lifestyle Medicine-first approach and who serve patient populations most burdened by health disparities to begin the journey. It costs approximately $3,500 to equip a clinician to become a Lifestyle Medicine physician, professional, or practitioner. With this in mind, our goal is to raise $50,000 by December 31, 2020.

Maximize your year-end gift. Bring health restoration to populations who need it most - by expanding the impact of Lifestyle Medicine.

*What is HEAL?

ACLM is on a mission, as evidenced by the launch of the Health Equity Achieved through Lifestyle Medicine (HEAL) Initiative, to advance our field as a solution to disparities in health outcomes and health care, especially when it comes to lifestyle-related chronic disease.

HEAL Education Scholarships are made possible through seed funding provided by the Ardmore Institute of Health.
